Ralph Nader said "The function of leadership is to produce more leaders, not more followers." If you ever wonder if you're leading and you have to look back to see if anyone's following..... you're probably not leading very well! If you want to be a great leader... start by being a nice leader. I remember watching a company change leadership about 20 years ago.... about the same time Ralph Nader was running for president! The company I'm talking about went from a fun leader who embraced the team and drew people in... to a stern leader that seemed to care more about profits than people. He pushed some away and fired those who didn't get on board. The whole company changed and shortly after they were sold to someone else. Leadership matters!
