Jeanette Jenkins said “Never give anyone the power to take away your joy.” I love that! Thanks Allison. I had conversations with both my son and my daughter when they were growing up about this very concept. When someone was being rude to them. I reminded them that OUR REACTION will make a bigger difference. My mom said to “kill them with kindness” and it's amazing how quickly people get confused when you're kind to them when they're NOT kind to you! It baffles them. If you take their bait... and get angry... like they want you to... you're on their hook!
