Josh Billings said “Common sense is instinct, and enough of it is genius.” Think about how true that is! Many movies and TV shows have characters who are BOOK SMART, but lack common sense... and we relate because they really do exist! Book smarts are good, but I believe a combination of smarts and common sense to be the very best! I've also worked with business owners with a great deal of common sense, but they needed help in some areas, which was their common sense kicking in to let them know they needed help, so they HIRED book smart people! That's a good plan too!
