Aristotle said "Happiness is a quality of the soul ... not a function of one's material circumstances." I completely agree! I know people who are dead broke but as happy as you could be. I also know people who are millionaires many times over... and they are miserable. I don't think the money made them miserable... just like I don't think the lack of money made the others happy. I think the money scale... and the happiness scale are two completely different things! You can be happy or miserable whether you're in a mansion or an apartment. I do believe being happy is MORE IMPORTANT than being rich and successful... and I am certainly happy!
