I learned part of this in sales. If you don't ask... you're saying NO for them! I've never been a pushy salesperson... I'm not a fan of that myself. But I do enjoy giving people the opportunity to say yes to something. I love selling IDEAS! Bringing someone a solution to help them fix a problem... large or small... it's fun to help someone get over the stumbling block that's been keeping them from growing. And, like Nora said... if you don't ask... the answer is always no!
