Candie Dombroski said “Leaders replace the word 'I' with the 'we' in all communication. We came up with this idea. We worked hard on this project. We hit a home run with the event. We made a difference today” I love that.... OK it would have been weird for me to have said WE love that! This is something I've done for quite some time. I didn't read it in a book... I just did it because I knew it was not all me. It was my amazing team who helped me make it happen. When we hit a goal... WE hit the goal. When we brought on a new client... WE did it together. It was most definitely not just me! It was a team of people who helped me get to where I am... & they deserve credit too!
