This was printed on a sign at a local restaurant and I loved it. The sign said “If each of us spent $100 a year more at local businesses instead of chain stores, it would put an extra THREE MILLION a year into our local economy. Not only that, but it would also create thousands more local jobs every year.” I love that. I'm a big fan of small businesses! I go our of my way to support local businesses in my community. I was unloading some things when a friend told me “you can get that cheaper online” I responded that I like to buy from the family that owns that business. I like them and it's more than just a transaction to me... and to them!
