Bruce Lee said “Instead of buying your children all the things you never had, you should teach them all the things you were never taught. Material wears out, but knowledge stays” Excellent quote. Bruce was taken way too soon, sadly so was his son Brandon. Sad and tragic stories, but this quote kind of reminds me of a decision we made a few years ago. We QUIT buying Christmas presents for our kids. They're adults now and we made the decision to buy adventures and experiences. We take them on a little trip somewhere. It's always one of my favorite weeks of the year. We don't need more material things... but we can ALL use more memories!
