John D. Rockefeller said "Don't be afraid to give up the good to go for the great." What a great quote. I don't know too much about John D. Rockefeller, other than the fact that he was super rich. I can honestly say... I'm not even 100% sure I know why he was rich and successful... but THIS MINDSET was probably one of the reasons he was successful. He was willing to give up the good to go after the great! I know many people who are content with good. They have reached a comfort level that allows them to be happy, but they're not willing to risk the good to TRY to go for the great! I'm a fan of taking calculated risks. Don't bet the farm, but be willing to bet a cow or a chicken or two!
