There's an anonymous quote that says “Ships don’t sink because of the water around them. Ships sink because of the water that gets in them. Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you and weigh you down.” What a great quote. Have you let life pull YOU down? I have. I'm not proud of that. But I've done it. I'm also glad I recognized that I was doing it... so I was able to stop. Sometimes we need to dump the water that gets in OUR ship. Plug the hole that let it in, whether it was social media... or the news... or a friend who just brings you down. Find the problem... fix the problem... then begin filling your life with POSITIVE things again until you rise back up to where you really need to be!
