Kevin Durrant said “Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.” What a great quote. I've been telling my kid this same exact though since they were little. They're both super talented, but I know people who are far more talented than I am who have not achieved what I have, not because I'm better than them. I'm really NOT. But, because I out-worked them. Ambition is one of the most important qualities you can have. If you have great ideas and a great amount of talent, but you never actually DO the things you just talk about. You're never going to make it. So many talented people end up failing... their unrealized talent is wasted because they didn't have the ambition to actually rise to the top!
